The primary duties of a Water Billing Clerk are:

Greeting the public, assist as necessary, in gathering required information.
Answering the phone, take and delivering messages.
Investigates customer complaints concerns meter readings, water service, etc.
Typing, copying and maintaining a comprehensive filing system.
Assists with maintenance of customer accounts.
Assists with preparation of billings and delinquency notices.
Input, verification and balancing of account receipts.
Input, verification and balance of deposit receipt records.
Assists with preparation and notification of boil water orders.
Assists with preparation of account work orders.
